Utility Project on Route 68 (Wallingford Road) in Durham

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that utility work will be performed on Route 68 (Wallingford Rd.) in Durham, Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 30, 2017.

The utility project consists of installing a 16” gas main on Route 68 (Wallingford Rd.) in Durham.

This project is being performed by Eversource Gas under Encroachment Permits # 1015727 and #1015832.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect alternating traffic to occur on Route 68 (Wallingford Rd.) Durham from Route 157 (Skeet Club Rd.) to the Durham/Wallingford Town Line.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is

8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
