Traffic Shift for the Rehabilitation/Replacement of Bridges 06716, 06717 and 06699 in Weston
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activity will require a traffic stage shift to begin on April 27, 2017, for the rehabilitation of structures carrying Route 57 over Kettle Creek in Weston.
Route 57 will be open, during Stage 2, with one lane in each direction on the east side of the road with temporary precast concrete barrier in place to protect the work zone.  This is a change from the travel pattern during stage 1 which allowed one lane in each direction on the west side of the road.
The project consists of new culvert installation at two locations in Weston on Route 57 and River Road and Timber Mill Lane.

DOT Project No. 0170-2876 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company Inc. of Watertown, CT at a cost of $3,325,006.10 on April 9th, 2015, and is scheduled to be completed July 4th, 2018.
