Traffic Impacts on Chase Avenue and North Main Street in Waterbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Chase Avenue and North Main Street in the City of Waterbury will be impacted by upcoming construction activities.  These impacts will start Monday April 3, 2017 and will continue until July 18, 2017.
The project consists of the reconstruction and widening of Chase Avenue from North Main Street to Kenneth Circle including installation of new retaining walls, drainage improvements, new sidewalks and intersection and traffic signal improvements.
In order to complete reconstruction activities along North Main Street where it intersects with Chase Avenue the road will be closed to southbound traffic.  A detour using Hill Street will be provided for southbound traffic along North Main Street.  Northbound traffic along North Main Street will not be affected.  At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be provided along Chase Avenue at all times and no closures of Chase Avenue are planned or expected.

DETOUR AND LANE CLOSURE INFO
Monday April 3, 2017 through Tuesday July 18, 2017:
