                                       Surveying on Route 7 in Norwalk

                                                                                              

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on Route 7 northbound and southbound in Norwalk, beginning Saturday, October 21, 2017. 

The project consists of surveying which will be performed on Route 7 NB & SB in Norwalk.  This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, October 21, 2017 for Route 7 NB & SB and on Sunday, October 22, 2017 for Route 7 Southbound. This survey work is being completed in advance of DOT Project Number 102-358, the completion of the partial interchange between Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) and Route 7.

The surveying operation will be performed by state forces. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 7 NB & SB between Exit 2 (Route 123, New Canaan Ave) Exit 3 (SB Exit to SB Route 15) in Norwalk.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
