Surveying on Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in Norwalk

                                                                           

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) southbound in Norwalk, beginning Saturday, December 2, 2017.  This survey work is being completed in advance of DOT Project Number 102-296, the Bridge and Safety Improvements of Route 15 in this vicinity.

This project is scheduled to occur on Saturdays, December 2, 2017, December 9, 2017, and December 16, 2017 and Sundays, December 3, 2017, December 10, 2017 and December 17, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 Southbound between Exit 41 (Route 33, Wilton Rd.) and Exit 40A (Route 719, Main Ave) in New Canaan and Norwalk.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
