Surveying along I-95 in Branford, Dec. 2-3

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Branford, Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, 2017, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

This survey work is being completed in advance of DOT Project Number 14-185, the replacement of Bridge No. 00196  (Route 1 overpass).

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB in Branford in between Exit 54 (SR 740, Cedar Street) and Exit 56 (Leetes Island Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
