Start of Work for Merritt Parkway Rehabilitation and Safety Improvements from the Congress Street Overpass to the Newtown Turnpike Overpass in Fairfield and Westport
The project consists of the pavement rehabilitation of 5 miles (each direction) of Route 15 and 11 structures (over and underpasses) in the towns of Fairfield and Westport.  Upgrades to pavement, guiderail, drainage and historic concrete are included.
DOT Project No. 0158-0211/207 was awarded to Manafort Brothers, Inc. at a cost of $56,712,000.00 on January 20, 2017 and is scheduled to be completed August 20, 2019.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Generally work will take place a night.  Allowable Northbound lane closures are 8 PM to 6 AM, Saturday to Wednesday, and 9PM to 8AM, Thursday and Friday. 
Allowable southbound lane closures are from 7PM to 6AM, Monday-Thursday, and 8PM Friday to 8AM Saturday, and 8PM Saturday to 8AM Sunday.
