Safety Improvement Project along State Route 610 (Baltic Road) in Franklin

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on State Route 610 (Baltic Road) in Franklin, beginning Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

The project consists of installing guide rail on SR 610 (Baltic Road) in Franklin.  This project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, through Wednesday, September 6, 2017.  No work will be performed on September 4, 2017, due to the Labor Day holiday. 

This work is being performed by PGP Group, dba Atlas Companies.  The Call-Before-You-Dig numbers for this location are 2017-2903747 and 2017-2903754.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on SR 610 (Baltic Road) from Route 32 (Windham Tpk.) to Route 207 (Pond Rd.) in Franklin.  State traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
