Guide Rail Installation on Route 213 in Waterford and Route 156 in East Lyme

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Route 213 (Great Neck Rd.) in Waterford and Route 156 (West Main St.) in East Lyme, Monday, October 16, through Monday, November 16, 2017. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This work is being performed by PGP Group, dba Atlas Companies. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 213 (Great Neck Rd.) in Waterford from Route 156 (West Main St.) to Goshen Road and Route 156 (West Main St.) in East Lyme from the Old Lyme Town Line to Route 1(Boston Post Rd.).  Atlas Companies traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
