Resurfacing Project on West Shore Road in Washington, Kent & Warren

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on SR 478 (West Shore Rd.) in Washington, Kent and Warren, beginning Monday, September 25, 2017. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.16 mile segment of SR 478 (West Shore Rd.) in Washington, Kent, and Warren. This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, September 25, 2017 to Friday, October 13, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 478 (West Shore Rd.) and the South Junction of Rt. 45

(East Shore Rd.) and the North Junction of Rt. 45 (East Shore Rd.)  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
