             Resurfacing Project on Route 17 (Middletown Ave.) in North Branford

       

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on

Route 17 (Middletown Ave.) in North Branford – Friday, August 11, through Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

The project consists of resurfacing 3.66 miles of Route 17.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 17 (Middletown Ave.) from Connector to Westbound Route 22 (Forest Rd.) to Durham Town Line.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
