              Resurfacing Project along Route 103 (Quinnipiac Ave.) in North Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 103 (Quinnipiac Avenue) in North Haven, beginning Monday, June 12, 2017.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 3.84 miles of Route 103 (Quinnipiac Ave.) in North Haven.  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, June 12, 2017 through Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, June 12, 2017 through Thursday, June 22, 2017.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, June 26, 2017 through Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 103 (Quinnipiac Ave.) from Route 17 (Middletown Ave.) to

Route 22 (Clintonville Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  There are seven days of milling and one night of milling scheduled. There are 8 days of paving and two nights of paving scheduled.  The last shift of milling and two shifts of paving will be completed at night.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
