Replacement of Highway Signage on I-95 Northbound and Southbound

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the replacement of highway signs on I-95 Northbound and Southbound from Groton to North Stonington, beginning on April 1, 2017.
The project consists of the replacement of highway signage on I-95 Northbound and Southbound and at all on and off ramps.
DOT Project No. 0172-0342 was awarded to A.M. Rizzo Electrical Contractors, Inc. at a cost of $6,295,552.30 on November 30, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed on or about March 2, 2019. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists on I-95 Northbound and Southbound can expect temporary lane shifts and/or closures during construction Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Motorists can expect halted I-95 traffic for a period not to exceed 10 minutes to perform necessary work for the installation and / or removal of overhead sign supports, between 12:10 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on all non-holiday days.
