Rehabilitation of Bridge 06690, Route 66 over Lyman Brook in Marlborough

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the Rehabilitation of Bridge 06690, Route 66 over Lyman Brook, beginning on or about March 23, 2017.
This project includes inserting 54-inch HDPE pipes into existing 60" corrugated metal pipes, and filling the annular space with a low pressure grout.  There will be fisheries improvements including the direction of the majority of the flow into the western pipe, the installation of baffles in the western pipe, and the construction of a concrete fish ladder and holding pool at the outlet of the western pipe.
DOT Project No. 0078-0090 was awarded to NJR Construction, LLC, at a cost of $450,120.00 on December 14, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed on or about August 26, 2017. 
No lane closures are expected.   However, there will be trucks entering and exiting Route 66 around Route 2 northeast of Marlborough town center.
