Pre-leveling on Route 171 (Eastford Road) in Woodstock, in Advance of Repaving

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pre-leveling project – in advance of repaving – will be performed on Route 171 (Eastford Road) in Woodstock, beginning Thursday, June 22, through Friday, June 30, 2017.

The project consists of pre-leveling a 7.64 mile segment of Route 171 (Eastford Rd.) in Woodstock.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 171 (Eastford Rd.) from Route 198 (Black Pond Rd.) to

Route 169 (Norwich Winchester Turnpike) in Woodstock.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
