Nighttime Utility Project on I-84 in East Hartford

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime utility project will be performed on I-84 Eastbound in East Hartford, overnight Sunday, October 22, to Monday, October 23, 2017. Work hours will be 7 pm to 5 a.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect a ramp closure to occur for the Exit 56 off ramp from I-84 Eastbound in

East Hartford.  Traffic will be detoured to Exit 58 (Robert Street, SR518), left onto Robert Street, right onto I-84) back to Exit 56 (Governor Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the Detour.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
