Nighttime Pavement Project on Rt. 8 in Waterbury & Naugatuck

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement project will be performed on Route 8 in Waterbury and Naugatuck from 4 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 16, 2017. 

The project consists of crack filling, surface patching, milling, and resurfacing a 2.22 mile segment of Route 8 in Waterbury and Naugatuck. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 8 between Exit 29 and Exit 30, including highway ramps.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
