Nighttime Pavement Preservation Project on I-95 Southbound in Stonington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project will continue on a 3.15-mile segment of I-95 southbound in Stonington through Thursday, September 28, 2017.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.15 mile segment of I-95 SB in Stonington.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-95 SB between Rt. 27 (Whitehall Ave.) to 0.27 miles past Stony Brook in Stonington.  Two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists can expect intermittent ramp closures to occur at the Exit 90 off and on ramps to Route 27 (Whitehall Ave.) on Sunday, September 17, 2017 into Monday, September 18, 2017, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
