Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 15 in Newington and Berlin

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 15 in Newington and Berlin, beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2017. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.25 mile segment of Route 15 in Newington and Berlin.  This milling portion of this project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 to Sunday, June 11, 2017. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Sunday, June 18, 2017 to Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 in Newington and Berlin from NB Route 160 (Deming Rd.) to SB Route 173 (Richard Street). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
