                  Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing along Route 111 (Main St.)

                                           & Route 25 (Main St.) in Trumbull

       

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Routes 111 (Main St.) & 25 (Main St.) in Trumbull, beginning Sunday, May 21, 2017.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a .74 mile segment of Route 111 (Main St.) and a .76 mile segment of Route 25 (Main St.) in Trumbull.  This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, May 21, 2017 through Tuesday, June 6, 2017.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 21, 2017 through Friday, May 26, 2017.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 through Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

No work will occur during the Memorial Day weekend from Friday, May 26, 2017 through Monday,

May 29, 2017.  Work will resume on Tuesday night May 30, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 111 (Main St.) from .05 mile north of Whitney Avenue to .01 mile south of Pequonnock River and on Route 25 (Main St.) from Route 111 (Monroe Turnpike) to .12 south of Monroe Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  (Sunday-Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
