Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project along Route 108 (Nichols Ave.) in Stratford

       

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 108 (Nichols Ave.) in Stratford, beginning Monday, April 17, 2017.  Lane closures will be required.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 2.41 miles of Route 108 (Nichols Ave.) in Stratford.  This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 to the morning of Friday, May 5, 2017. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, April 17, 2017 through Thursday, April 27, 2017.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, April 30, 2017 through Friday, May 5, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 108 (Nichols Ave.) from US 1 (Barnum Ave) to .06 mile south of Silver Lane.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
