Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing on Route 15 in Orange, Woodbridge and New Haven

       

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) in Orange, Woodbridge and New Haven, beginning Sunday July 23, 2017.

The project consists of milling and paving 7.12 miles on Route 15 NB & SB in Orange, Woodbridge and New Haven.  This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, July 23, 2017 through Wednesday, September 6, 2017. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 23, 2017 through Thursday, August 31, 2017.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 31, 2017 through Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 NB & SB between Exit 55A (Wheelers Farm Rd.) and Exit 60 (Rt. 10, Dixwell Ave.) Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
