Nighttime Bridge Maintenance Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt. 15) in Hamden & Wallingford

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on various bridges on the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt. 15) in Hamden and Wallingford, beginning Sunday, October 29, 2017.

The bridge work consists of bridge maintenance on the bridges listed below. This work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 to the morning of Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

      •          Hamden-Bridge #00782, over Connolly Parkway
      •           Wallingford-Bridge #00795, over Amtrak
      •           Wallingford-#Bridge 00434, over US 5

   

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program and is being supported by Dynamic Surface Application.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 15 NB & SB between Exit 60 (Route 10) and Exit 61 (SR 707) in Hamden and Exit 65 (Route 150) and Exit 66 (Route 5) in Wallingford.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
