Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in West Haven

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in West Haven, beginning Monday, July 31, 2017.

The work consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 NB & SB on the bridges listed below. This work is scheduled to occur Monday, July 31, 2017 through Friday, August 25, 2017.

         West Haven-Bridge #156 over Allings Crossing-43.40

          West Haven-Bridge #161 over SR 745 (First Avenue)-45.19

          West Haven-Bridge #162 over Metro North-45.42

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program and is being supported by Dynamic Surface Application.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB between Exits 41 (Marsh Hill Rd.), through

Exits 44 (SR 745, Kimberly Ave.) in West Haven

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
