Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Waterford

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed overnight on I-95 southbound in Waterford, Friday, May 19, to Saturday, May 20, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 SB, Bridge #06130 (Rt. 85, Broad St. Overpass) in Waterford. This project is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 to the morning of Saturday, May 20, 2017.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Bridge Repair Unit-Mohawk Northeast Inc.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect various lane closures on I-95 SB from Exit 82 to Exit 81 in the town of Waterford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for the night shift is from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
