Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in New Haven

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 southbound in New Haven, beginning Friday, October 6, 2017.

This is Bridge #00174, the Quinnipiac River Overpass, in New Haven. This project is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, to the morning of Saturday, October 7, 2017.

Motorists can expect delays on I-95 SB at Exit 51 (US Route 1) to Exit 48 (TR 813, I-91 NB) in

New Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
