Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Milford

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will continue on I-95, northbound and southbound in Milford, through Thursday, August 10, 2017. Lane closures will be required.

This is Bridge # 00153 – the Quarry Road overpass – in Milford.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program to support State Forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction LLC.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB in Milford between Exits 40 (Quarry Road) overpass) and Exit 41. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday-Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
