Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Branford and Madison

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will occur on I-95 in Branford and Madison, Monday, June 12, to Friday, June 16, 2017. Work hours will be 9 pm to 5 am on the following bridges.

Branford - Bridge #189 under Cherry Hill Road

Branford - Bridge #197 under Feather Bed Lane

Madison - Bridge #216 Under Horse Pond Road

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB between Exit 53 (SR 794, Branford Connector) and Exit 62 (SSR 450, Hammonasset Connector).

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
