Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-84 Eastbound in East Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 eastbound, beginning Monday, June 5, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-84 EB, Bridge #5844A (Rt. 15 overpass) in East Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017 to the morning of Friday, June 30, 2017.

This work is being performed by Mohawk Northeast

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 EB in East Hartford between Exit 56 to Exit 58. Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Thursday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
