Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-95 Southbound in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 southbound in Milford, beginning Monday April 17, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 SB, Bridge #137, Metro-North overpass, in Milford.

This project is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2017 to the morning of Thursday, April 20, 2017.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program and is being performed by state forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone from Exit 35 (School House Road) to Exit 34 (US Route 1). The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  (Monday–Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
