Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-95 in Milford

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 in Milford, beginning Tuesday, July 11, through Friday, August 4, 2017. Work hours will be 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Lane closures will be required.

The work consists of bridge maintenance on the bridges listed below:

  • Bridge #00138 over School House Lane
  • Bridge #00145 over Wepawaug River
  • Bridge #00147 over Orange Avenue
  • Bridge #00149 over US 1 (Boston Post Rd.)
  • Bridge #00150 over Indian River
  • Bridge #00151 over East Town Road

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SS between Exit 34 (US 1) through Exit 40 (SR 708) in Milford.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
