Nighttime Bridge Maintenance – I-95 Southbound On-Ramp from Route 12 Southbound in Groton

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on the Route 12 southbound On-Ramp to I-95 southbound in Groton, Monday, July 24, through Friday, August 4, 2017. Work hours will be 7 pm to 5 am.

This is Bridge #01770 (Rt. 184 overpass) in Groton.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect a ramp closure from Route 12 SB to I-95 SB. The detour will direct motorists from Rt. 12 SB, right turn onto Kings Hwy, right turn onto Bridge St, then right turn onto the I-95 SB on ramp. Traffic control personnel, variable message board, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
