Nightly Closure of I-84 Eastbound Entrance Ramp at Sisson Avenue from June 26, 2017, to June 30, 2017

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nightly ramp closure and detours for the week of June 26, 2017,  at the I-84 eastbound entrance ramp at Sisson Ave (Exit 46) in Hartford.
The closure is necessary as part of the Rehabilitation of Bridge Numbers 03160 A-D, 03301, 03303, 01765 and 01766 on I-84 in Harford. The work is part of the $39 million bridge rehabilitation project being constructed by The Middlesex Corporation. 
Ramp Closure and Detour Information:
The I-84 EB Entrance Ramp at Sisson Ave. (Exit 46) will be closed nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. starting Monday June 26, 2017 and extending to Friday June 30, 2017. Motorists wanting access to I-84 EB from the West Boulevard/Sisson Avenue intersection will be directed south on Sisson Ave. They will then be directed to turn left on to Capitol Avenue and signs will direct them ahead to the I-84 eastbound entrance at Capitol Avenue (Exit 47).
