MOTORIST ADVISORY - Extended Hour Lane Closure on I-95 Southbound Between Exits 46 and 42 is Scheduled Saturday Night, September 16, 2017, in New Haven and West Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an extended hour lane closure on I-95 Southbound between Exits 46 and 42 is scheduled from 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night, September 16, 2017, through 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, September 17, 2017, in the towns of New Haven and West Haven.  
The lane closures are necessary to perform a Stage 3 concrete deck pour from I-95 Southbound on Bridge No. 163. The concrete deck pour requires that the I-95 Southbound left and center lanes between Exits 46 and 42 will begin to be closed starting at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night, September 16, 2017, with all lanes open by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
