Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 53 (Redding Rd.) in Redding

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.61-mile segment of Route 53 (Redding Rd.) in Redding, Tuesday, June 20, through Wednesday, July 12, 2017. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 53 (Redding Rd.) between Route 107 (Lonetown Rd.) and the Bethel town line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

(Monday-Friday)

(Milling night work will take place on June 20, 2017. Paving night work will take place on July 5, 2017.  NIGHT WORK HOURS WILL BE 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
