Intersection Improvements on US Route 1 at Route 53 and US Route 1 at

Stuart Avenue in Norwalk

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of Intersection Improvements on US Route 1 at Route 53 and US Route 1 at Stuart Avenue in the City of Norwalk. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-January.

The project consists of drainage, traffic signals, and safety improvements at the intersections of US Route 1 at Route 53 and US Route 1 at Stuart Avenue in the City of Norwalk.

DOT Project No. 0102-0325/0346 was awarded to Waters Construction Company, Inc. at a cost of $2,865,836 on November 30, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2018.

The Project is being administered by the Department of Transportation Office of Construction, District 3 in New Haven, CT.
