Installation of Centerline and Shoulder Rumble Strips

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the installation of centerline and shoulder rumble strips, (and line striping) will be performed at various locations, in the following Towns:  Andover, Colchester, Columbia, East Hampton, East Lyme, Eastford, Haddam, Killingly, Marlborough, Montville, Preston and Old Lyme, beginning on or about June 10, 2017. 
Project 0172-0459 consists of the installation of centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and line striping on various routes throughout eastern Connecticut.  
DOT Project No. 0172-0459 was awarded to Surface Preparation Technologies, LLC at a cost of $219,351.22 on May 1, 2017 and is scheduled to be completed August 23, 2017.
