Guiderail Safety Improvement Project on Route 2 in Glastonbury

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a guiderail safety improvement project will be performed on Route 2 eastbound in Glastonbury, beginning Monday, June 5, and ending Thursday, June 8, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect left lane closures to occur on Route 2 in Glastonbury beginning one (1) mile east of the Wasuc Road access ramp to the Marlborough town line. Motorists can expect alternating traffic patterns, flaggers and signing patterns to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday-Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
