Guide Rail Repair on East River Road in Barkhamsted

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a guide rail repair project on East River Road in Barkhamsted, beginning Friday, August, Friday 25, 2017.

The road will be closed down at Riverton Road at the entrance to Peoples State Forest, for approximately one mile. 

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  Motorists can utilize West River Road during the road closure. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
