Fifth Weekend Detour of Route 7 Scheduled for the Replacement of Bridge 02029, Route 7 over the Norwalk River in Ridgefield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a weekend closure of Route 7 is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 8:00 PM and end on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 6:00 AM to facilitate the rehabilitation of Bridge 02029 – Route 7 over the Norwalk River in Ridgefield.
Traffic will be detoured via Route 35 and Route 102.
DOT Project No. 0117-0157 was awarded to New England Infrastructure, Inc. at a cost of $3,489,712.00 on March 3, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed by October 16, 2017.
