Detour Scheduled for Route 109 in Washington Beginning on November 14, 2017
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled detour and closure of Route 109 in Washington in the vicinity of Sabbaday Lane #2, beginning on November 14, 2017.  The detour and closure is necessary to facilitate construction activities for the replacement of the retaining wall system on Route 109 (Blackville Road).
The detour will last a maximum of 30 days. The contractor is allowed to detour traffic around the site using Routes 109, 209, 202 and 47.
DOT Project No. 0150-0134 was awarded to Larosa Construction Co. on November 9, 2017, and is scheduled to be completed by December 15, 2017.
