Charter Oak Bridge Maintenance (Rt. 15 Northbound) in East Hartford

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on the Charter Oak Bridge over the Connecticut River, Route 15 Northbound, in East Hartford overnight, Wednesday, December 20, to Thursday, December 21, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 NB in East Hartford between Exit 89 to Exit 90. Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Due to the nature of repair the work schedule for this project is to begin at 9:00 a.m. until completion with various lanes closed during the progression of the project.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
