Bridge Maintenance on Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) in Bridgeport

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) in Bridgeport, beginning Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on Route 130 (Stratford Ave.), Bridge #02475 (Pequonnock River overpass), in Bridgeport. This project is scheduled to occur from Wednesday, December 6, 2017 through Friday, December 8, 2017.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program and is being performed by state forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect closure to traffic on Route 130 (Stratford Ave.) Bridge #02475 (Pequonnock River overpass).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to stay alert and maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
