Bethel Rail Station Parking Lot Expansion Project Begins

TheConnecticutDepartmentofTransportationisannouncingthatconstructionactivityhas begunat the Bethel Rail Station Parking Lot in Bethel.

The project consists of reconstruction of the existing parking lot which will increase the number of parking spaces for the rail station.  The reconstruction includes new pavement and new line striping for all parking stalls. Construction will be performed in four stages, and will also include the installation of new lighting and updated drainage. A total of 324 parking spaces will be available upon project completion.

DOT Project No. 0302-0015 was awarded to Guerrera Construction Company, Inc. at a cost of

$1,698,435.75 on 12/14/16 and is scheduled to be completed 11/28/2017.
