Alternating One-Way Traffic to be Implemented for Rehabilitation of Bridge 00668, Route 12 over Mill Brook in Plainfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an alternating one-way traffic pattern controlled by a temporary traffic signal will be implemented for the rehabilitation of Bridge 00668, Route 12 over Mill Brook in Plainfield beginning on September 13, 2017, through November 15, 2017.
About the Project:
The project will be performed in two stages with one half of the bridge being worked on at a time. During Stage 2 construction, truck and bus traffic entering Old Norwich Road will be detoured.
The work consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing superstructure.
DOT Project no. 0108-0185 was awarded to New England Infrastructure, Inc. at a cost of $1,182,223.00 on May 1, 2017 and is scheduled to be completed November 15, 2017.
