Alternating One-Way Traffic Scheduled for One Night on Route 302 in Newtown

To facilitate the ongoing replacement of Bridge 03271, Route 302 in Newtown will have alternating one-way traffic for one night on Wednesday, November 8, beginning at 6:00 PM, and ending on Thursday, November 9, at 6:00 AM.  This traffic pattern is needed while a water main is relocated. Traffic on adjacent Elm Street may be impacted as well.
DOT Project No. 0096-0197 was awarded to Dayton Construction Co. at a cost of $1,923,757.35 on April 20, 2017, and is scheduled to be completed by October 29, 2018.
