Work to begin on I-95 Northbound Exit 28 off-Ramp to Route 127 (East Main Street) Bridgeport
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that physical work related to the widening of the I-95 Northbound Exit 28 off-ramp to Route 127 is expected to begin on October 1, 2014, and last about 1 month.
The project consists of widening and reconstruction of the off-ramp and installation of new traffic signals.
Project no. 0015-0351 was awarded to C.J. Fucci Construction at a cost of $9,878,178.00 on April 1, 2013 and is scheduled to be completed May 15, 2015. This work is part of the Steelpointe Harbor Roadway Improvements Project for the City of Bridgeport.

Work affecting traffic on the ramp will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The ramp will be narrowed to one lane during the construction.
