Signs will be in place to direct traffic around the closure.  Detour routes are:

-  Cars will use Pine Street, Bostwick Avenue and State Street.

A temporary sidewalk will be in place for pedestrian access.

The work is part of a project to overhaul the overhead Catenary wire system and replace five bridges on the New Haven Rail Line between Bridgeport and Fairfield.  The contract was awarded to Ducci Electrical Contractors of Torrington, CT, in April 2007 and the revised schedule has the project completing in December 2014.
