Tree Removal along Route 72 Westbound in Plainville; Lane Closure Required

     

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that tree removal work will be performed in the center median on Route 72 in Plainville on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect a left lane closure to occur on Route 72 Westbound and a shoulder closure on Route 72 Eastbound at the I-84 Eastbound and Westbound overpasses in Plainville.  Both Eastbound travel lanes will remain open during the operation. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.   

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
