Superstructure Replacement for Bridge No. 01550,  Route 207 Over Beaver Brook in the Town of Sprague
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the replacement of the Beaver Brook Bridge superstructure on Route 207 (West Main St.) in the town of Sprague.
The project consists of replacing concrete beams, concrete deck, concrete sidewalk, curbs, railing, protective fencing, and bituminous wearing surface.

DOT Project 133-94 was awarded to Mattern Construction Co. on May 2, 2014, at a cost of $869,988 and is scheduled to be completed in January 2015.

The contractor working hours are from 7am to 3:30pm.

Route 207 (North Main Street)

The contractor will maintain a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction except when the contractor is actively working, at which time an alternating one-way traffic operation will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.

The contractor will be allowed to halt traffic for a period not to exceed ten minutes for the installation and removal of the temporary precast concrete barrier curb.
